It is spread across 6+ broad sectors: · Space/Defense: $RKLB, $ASTS, $OSS, $ONDS · Fintech/Insurance: $SOFI, $OSCR · AI infrastructure: $IREN · Nuclear: $SMR · Bio/Healthcare: $IBRX, $HIMS · Rare earths and commodities: $UAMY, $SILVF · Others: $INV, $INFQ, $ZETA I rarely do portfolio reviews, but given how many people have asked and how similar the portfolios have been, made me think this was worth sharing. These portfolios tend to have a lot in common: · Low starting capital · High growth, high volatility names · Exposure across five or more sectors My answer is usually the same. Without knowing personal circumstances, I believe this is a weak portfolio set up. 1. The first issue is how the positions interact with each other. If you concentrate within a smaller number of sectors, your positions are more likely to move together when that theme works. That is how you generate meaningful upside with limited capital. You are aligning your bets. (You must learn when to take profit to avoid giving out the gains). When you spread across six or seven unrelated sectors, you introduce internal conflict. One group of stocks can be working while another is dragging. That rotation can continue for months. The result is a portfolio that simply goes nowhere. 2. The second issue is position sizing relative to capital. With small capital, each position ends up being too small to matter. Even if one of these names performs well, it will not move the overall portfolio in a meaningful way. At the same time, the downside is still very real because some of these are very volatile, early-stage companies. So you take full volatility without capturing the upside. 3. The third issue is stock selection. Most of these names are widely discussed across platforms like X and Reddit. That usually means two things. First, expectations are already high. Second, you are constantly exposed to other people’s results. That creates a feedback loop. You see someone else outperforming in a different name, you question your own position, and you are tempted to rotate. Over time, this leads to inconsistent decision making and weak conviction. 4. For a beginner investor, this is where most mistakes happen. Not in picking a bad company, but in constantly switching between ideas without letting any thesis play out. If I were to simplify this, the core problem is lack of focus. With small capital, you do not need more stock ideas. You need better alignment between your capital, your conviction, and your time horizon. A more effective approach is: · Focus on two to three themes you understand well. · Build real conviction in a small number of names. · Size those positions so that being right actually impacts your portfolio in a meaningful way. · Accept volatility as part of the process. · Keep up to date with earnings and company related-news. · These are high risk stocks, you don't want to be holding a dead stock. · Never marry a stock, know what you hold and never ignore the bear argument. This is the reason hyperscalers are investing in Nuclear energy. Pre-revenue players like $OKLO and $SMR have been hit hard. Oklo is down 71% of ath and Nuscale 82%. On the other hand established value players like $BWXT are reaching new ath at the moment. Looks like investors are waiting to see the first revenues of these players. $OKLO will see first revenue in 2026 from isotope sales. The real commercial power revenue will only come in 2028. Their first commercial microreactor, the Aurora powerhouse at the Idaho National Laboratory, recently shifted its target date slightly. They are now aiming for their first nuclear heat and power production in 2028. $SMR investors have to wait even longer. Their first project in Idaho was cancelled due to rising cost estimates. The fist power revenues should come in in 2030. This date remains speculative. NuScale still needs to secure binding Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and finalize site licensing, meaning any delays in the supply chain or regulatory approvals could push that timeline further into the 2030s. I think these companies will see a lot of fluctuations until we see the first revenues. There is no reason to quickly jump in here imo. They both face some significant execution risks. Nuclear energy will only get more important though. So for investors with time and believe in the management, this might already be a great opportunity.

Nuclear took the biggest hit. The P/S has dropped from a record 11.04 to 8.57. Still well above the average of 6.23 though. Companies like $OKLO, $SMR and $LEU took a hit, but on the other hand $BWXT, and certainly $CCO gained market cap. The revenues of the wave grew by 32% QoQ and 36% YoY. The market cap on the other hand grew only 2% QoQ but 97% YoY. All hyperscalers have made it clear that they want to work with Nuclear energy. It makes sure that they always have power, day and night. It also gives them some flexibility to combine it with other energy waves. The P/S is still high in my opinion, but if the P/S drops further below the average of 6.23, I might be adding here.

The new energy wave had a difficult Q1 2026. Nuclear $OKLO: -38% $SMR: -37% Energy grid $EOSE: -61% $FLNC: -42% Solar: $TE: -46% $FSLR: -29% Hydrogen: $TKA: -20% $PLUG: +8% I own $FLNC who reported disappointing results but really got hammered when $EOSE reported earnings. The trust in management in this sector is completely gone. I don’t expect a turnaround until next earnings. But think the energy grid remains critical and $FLNC is ideally positioned. I hold my position which is currently down 27% for me. It is my smallest position and only 3% of my portfolio.

$SMR down 3% after Q4 earnings. As an investor, looking past the hype is crucial. NuScale secured a massive $1.3 billion war chest, but did so by selling millions of shares, diluting current stockholders. The flashy headline is an agreement to build up to 6 gigawatts of reactors for the TVA. However, this is non-binding. Meanwhile, financials show growing pains. Revenue shrank as early engineering work in Romania wound down. Importantly, net loss skyrocketed to $664 million, driven by a huge $507 million milestone payment to their partner, ENTRA1. They are buying future growth at a steep current cost.

Revenue has not yet spiked, but Market Cap has gone vertical. The catalyst are the Hyperscalers. $MSFT, $AMZN, and $GOOGL realized the grid cannot support their 2027 compute clusters. They are bypassing utilities to sign direct Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with nuclear operators. We are seeing a bifurcation in the sector. The miners like $CCJ and Kazatomprom are seeing floor prices for uranium rise, but the real alpha has been in the technology and fuel cycle. $BWXT is no longer just a naval defense contractor, they are becoming the prime supplier for commercial SMR components. DOE is moving to strengthen the nuclear fuel supply chain by launching “Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campuses.” States will be asked to host sites supporting the full fuel cycle including recycling used nuclear fuel. This is a system-level buildout across the nuclear stack: • Upstream sits uranium & fuel processing with $CCJ, $UUUU & $LEU. • Midstream is reactor & SMR deployment with $SMR, $OKLO, $BWXT & $NNE. • Downstream are the utilities converting capacity into grid power with $NEE, $VST, $TLN & $CEG.
