It'll be even more aggressive this time. > Just had a reasonable (and healthy) pullback the last couple of weeks > Received many more catalysts, including $NBIS and $CRWV being included in the Nasdaq-100 We have until June 22nd before Nasdaq rebalance takes effect. They literally rebranded their entire company, dumped their Bitcoin mining roots, and their stock is up ~75% YTD purely on the promise of a 2.2 GW pipeline and aiming to sign 3 tech leases by the end of the year. They are losing money on paper, but the market is heavily pricing in their AI future. Between $HIVE's 33% rip on an unbuilt 2027 gigafactory and $KEEL's total identity shift, the trend is clear: Wall Street is treating power pipelines like gold, and they want explicit AI infrastructure plays. $CLSK has arguably the best, most operational, highest-quality data center capacity in Texas and Georgia right now. But by staying quiet and focusing purely on the fundamentals instead of screaming 'AI infrastructure' from the rooftops, they are letting peers with far weaker immediate cash flows hijack the valuation multiples.

Dudes are tweaking on Leopold's semi short. But I'm looking at how he 7.5x'd his position in neocloud $CLSK that still hasn't landed a hyperscaler. $CLSK is the only Neocloud where Leopold increased the portfolio weighting. Every other miner / neocloud got diluted as a % of book this quarter. The stock is mooning 6.7% today while the markets are bloody murder. A few notes on $CLSK. It's a Bitcoin miner with 1.8 GW of contracted power pivoting hard into AI compute. 585 MW of ERCOT approved capacity in Texas. $1.2B in liquidity. Hashrate up 18% YoY. The catalyst: a pending hyperscaler lease at Sandersville GA. It's a 250 MW site plus 122 adjacent acres of energized land. $APLD's $7.5B / 15-year deal at Delta Forge is a comp. CEO on the Q2 call (May 11): "We accelerated our digital infrastructure evolution across four key areas: land and power development, with ERCOT approval of 300 MW..." In the April operational update, management said they're "making meaningful headway toward securing our first hyperscale customer." The Street is bulled up. Maxim $22, Cowen $26, KBW $16, Needham $18. 12 Buy, 0 Sell. Leopold averaged in around $8.50 in Q1. We're at $14 today. He's already up 65% and the lease hasn't even been signed. AI requires a lot of electricity, energy infrastructure, cooling, and computing power to scale globally. $CLSK operates massive energy-intensive computing infrastructure at scale. Right now, most people only associate them with Bitcoin mining. But what the market is beginning to realize is this: The future winners won't just be the companies creating AI. It will also be the companies controlling power access, data center infrastructure, and large-scale compute operations. That changes everything. JUST last year, $IREN was being compared to $CLSK, $MARA, and $RIOT, which made sense when the market viewed it as just another Bitcoin miner. As the market started to understand what was actually being built, that comparison set shifted, and now $IREN is being discussed alongside $CRWV and $NBIS. Most people missed that transition because they stayed anchored to the old category and focused too heavily on dilution, and you can see that same disconnect playing out again today. Note, that last year, $IREN had a $1B ATM open with a market cap under $1.5B and it was seen as a major overhang, yet it still went on to outperform the rest of the mining cohort. Now it has a $6B ATM with a market cap over $12B, and the exact same narrative is being repeated, just at a different scale and in a completely different category.

Up ~12% YTD, port blowing past ATH. Fading NFP data. AI adoption on a hockey stick, will slow hiring, will cause deflation, and it will be obvious. Inflation dead, and later this year we have tariff YoY roll-offs (baseline effect) to look forward to. "New" Fed will be fwd looking: Economy is hot, pour gas. On Mining/AI front.. hashrate has rebounded, and if BTC doesn't rally, hashprice likely to settle in lower $30's -- continuing to break all time lows. Very tough conditions. Seasonally, I expect hashrate to recover further into April, pushing hashprice even lower (all else constant). Which means: any miners still primarily relying on mining cashflow (and having been punished by such) present a very good opportunity to buy now if you feel they will pull off significant HPC. I think $CLSK may present favorable risk/reward here.. though until a deal solidifies it'll be high beta to BTC (not necessarily a bad thing, and can be hedged out). I think long $CLSK short ~1.5x $IBIT would work well into year end, though I didn't drill into what the perfect ratio would be. AI efficiency breakthroughs present a risk to the short-term AI infra stocks. I think right now enterprise adoption is limited by time, and not availability... they won't yet adopt faster just because it is cheaper. The heart of the bell curve adopts on a lag for a variety of reasons: a) larger groups take longer to make decisions. b) limitation of "how to adopt AI" knowledge workers -- this lags the actual tech by significant time. c) larger orgs have boomer mgmt that are afraid of change -- they wait for results of peers first. So, if another deepseek moment comes out that makes AI more efficient per KWH, that's not good for infrastructure narrative in the short term. As with last April, I would welcome such news as a buying opportunity. On a longer timescale, it wouldn't matter. Cheaper AI just means more of it.. and engineers will use it in "brute force" for all matter of implementations until GW capacity is filled. Cannot be bullish enough on how AI unlocks "generalized computing" that was unthinkable 5 years ago. Literally tell technology in words what you want implemented and it does a decent enough job at it. What ClawBot does for your PC, agents will increasingly do for entire enterprise workflows. Just needs non-idiots to adopt, and increasingly will become idiot-proof. If I were a software company, I'd build API's that add "agents" into the workflow explicitly. Eg, "agent user" triggered changes should be "softer", easier to audit, and only fully actualized by human interaction. End result: "hey, here is a <some app> built to be used by AI agents, but ultimately you're in charge" Enough rambling for now.. hope everyone is enjoying the ride.

$CLSK It's like a coiled spring. Sentiment and message volume are dead neutral. Consolidation is slowly happening. Positions are quietly being built. We're seeing rising prices on rising volume. Forget the short-term FUD or the yesterday's option hangover selling. The price is above all moving averages on the weekly chart. It found support at the 50 ma on the daily and is climbing again with a positive RSI. I think the trend has reversed and the bottom was in $10.80 and we're moving up. Don't listen to those who claim few understand with nothing of substance to back it up.

When I first started researching the Bitcoin miners, I thought $RIOT, $MARA, and $CLSK were the best miners. At the time, they were by far the most popular stocks in the sector. As I continued researching with the intention of opening a position, it became clear that $IREN was the best. Back then, the company was still called Iris Energy, and not many people knew about it outside of the mining community on X. Fast forward to today, and IREN has completely outclassed MARA, CLSK, and RIOT. The way IREN came in and dominated the Bitcoin mining sector is the same way I think the company will dominate the Neocloud/AI infrastructure sector.

🚨 What’s going on with neo-clouds right now? $NBIS $CRWV $APLD $CORZ $CIFR $IREN This corner of AI infrastructure has been hit hard. Not because demand for AI compute disappeared, but because capital got more expensive, buildouts got heavier, and the market repriced long-dated infrastructure risk. A lot of these names moved together on the way down. It could get confusing so I wanted to categorize these companies a bit and show how I view them “Neo-clouds” has turned into a catch-all label for companies building AI compute outside the hyperscalers. The businesses underneath it vary widely. Some sell GPU compute directly. Some sell power and buildings. Some are converting legacy infrastructure. Some own future capacity. Same demand tailwind. Very different operating realities. I like to break these into 4 groups - First group: full GPU clouds $NBIS $CRWV These companies run the compute. They own large GPU fleets, operate the software layer, and sell AI capacity directly to customers. Their results depend on execution at scale. Power coming online on schedule matters. Utilization tracking capacity ramps matters. Margins settling as deployments grow matters. $NBIS brings a vertically integrated cloud stack with tight control over hardware, software, and deployment. $CRWV brings scale, deep customer relationships, and an ability to deploy large clusters quickly. Both benefit directly when AI demand stays firm. Second group: infrastructure and hosting platforms $CORZ $CIFR $APLD $WULF $WYFI These companies focus on power, land, cooling, and uptime. Their role is to deliver capacity to AI and HPC tenants under long-duration agreements. Revenue shows up when megawatts get energized and contracts go live. With the right structure, demand risk sits closer to the tenant than the infrastructure owner. This creates a very different operating profile from running a cloud. Third group: active transitions from mining to AI $IREN $BTDR $HUT These names already have live AI operations alongside legacy assets. They own or operate GPUs, host workloads, and generate AI-related revenue today, while continuing to reposition older infrastructure. What matters here is conversion speed. Much of the value today sits in future capacity rather than active AI compute. Outcomes depend on interconnect timelines, customer commitments, and how quickly projects move from planning to build. This bucket behaves differently from capacity that’s already live. ... Across all of this, the real separation shows up in where risk lives. Who owns the GPUs. Who controls the power. Who gets paid when demand softens. Who needs ongoing access to capital to keep building. Those answers vary widely, even when prices move together. This is what I’m watching as the space evolves: MW that actually get energized. Contracts that turn into revenue. Utilization once systems are live. Capex pacing relative to financing. Cooling and rack-density readiness for next-gen deployments. Customer concentration as scale increases. Important to note: the goal of this post is just to help categorize the different companies that are often talked about on X. This post does not intend to highlight all the strengths or weaknesses or nuances or all the offerings of each of these companies. I currently only have a position in 2 of these companies which should highlight my personal conviction. I believe there will be a couple of massive winners and many others that fall short over the long term.

$CLSK Something to consider. The recent 10-k shows outstanding shares of 270.9M. However, that's the count before they bought back 30.6M shares, now closer to 240.4M. The annual EPS was based on an average weighted shares outstanding of approx. 291.6M shares. If we hypothetically based EPS on the current number of shares, the company would have posted 1.51 net income per basic share instead of 1.25. Your shares got 22% more valuable just from the reverse dilution, and nobody mentions it. Further, at the current PE ratio (13.31), the price should actually be closer to $20.23 based on the updated share count and 1.51 EPS. Even that is ridiculous. Small cap growth tech companies typically command a minimum of 20-35x meaning the price should be $30-53. It's being suppressed hard by the shorts. Know what you own.
