Let me dive a bit deeper in what I think is the difference in business model between $NBIS and $IREN. I've seen a couple of panels, quick fire chats, and keynotes from both companies and they are emphasizing different kind of things. I write this with a neutral stance where I see positives and negatives in both models. The first thing I want to emphasize is that the demand is real. During the conference there was never a question on whether the demand is real and/or sustainable. The main question was how to get the best ROI out of AI. Which business model and pricing model works best and where do companies find gaps in the market. A second thing is that I look at the bigger picture, I don't go into the details/calculation of any deals. I'm just connecting the dots. The Layers To understand the difference in business model, you have to be aware of the three layers both companies speak about. 1. The hardware: The first layer is the hardware layer. Basically the GPU's. I'm sure a lot can be said and done on this layer and there are differences between both but I don't see a major difference in business model between the two companies here. Let's just assume they both have access to hardware. 2. The cloud: This is the core of both Iren and Nbis. Both are selling cloud solutions. This basically means that companies can rent the GPU perfomances per hour. The big difference with Hyperscalers like AWS and CGP is that Iren and Nebius have way more access to power and compute. The goal for this power should be to train models on that raw power. It is not possible on the older datacenters of AWS and CGP because they don't have the compute to possibly do this. The compute they have available is meant to store HR/IT/Sales platforms on for enterprises. 3. The application: The application layer is what you build on top of the cloud layer. It's for enterprises who don't want to manage raw severs. You can immedatly design and install the nessecary applications. The space is very crowded here, you compete directly to competitors like Anthropic and SiliconFlow. The Hyperscalers To my understanding, up to 70% of the demand comes from Hyperscalers who are looking to buy raw compute for the Cloud. They got their own software to build on top of the cloud and they just need the compute to train their models on. In this sence both business models do not differentiate much from each other. What I did notice is that $IREN is a bit more focussed on protecting the bottom line, while $NBIS of focused on getting sold-out and getting deals done. The demand from Hyperscalers is big and they are coming to Iren and Nebius to find deals. But there are some other players in the field, Hyperscalers are actively looking for the best deals. I sometimes see new deals around with new datacenter companies I never heard about. When experts do the calculations, it looks like the gross profit of those deals aren't specatacular. Hyperscalers know this and they will use this to their advantage. Iren being this protective will defend their bottom line a lot but will automatically make you miss out on some potential deals. But the demand is only rising and the available power is shrinking, so patience might be the best deal here. The enterprises The big difference on the business models is how they are looking to approach the other 30% of the market. IREN $IREN is solely focusing on the second layer: "cloud for everyone". Ken spoke about: "Wanting to become a Hyperscaler". The deal with Mirantis is another clear statement that they want to be focussed on this segment. The thing here is that you narrow yourself a bit down to AI labs who are looking to train open source models on the cloud of $IREN. Companies like Blackbox AI, Cline, Mistral all fit this category, they are all looking for compute to train their open source models on. Mirantis helps smaller open source companies to build cloud software on top of IREN's infastructure and power. So the cloud is basically the raw compute you buy in GPU per running hour. Mirantis helps to build a software on top of this cloud. Some premium customers from Mirantis are $ADBE and $PYPL, who don't nessecary buy cloud from $IREN. I think outside the Hyperscalers, the open-source companies are the main ones $IREN is looking for but Ken talking about wanting to become a Hyperscaler and wanting to have cloud for everyone, does not really fit this picture. Hosting HR/IT/Sales platforms on your cloud has a way lower ROI than hosting training models. The raw power and compute Iren has, is an overfit for this business model. It also does not really fit the picture of protecting your bottom line, as you are going for lower ROI sales. I think becoming a Hyperscaler might be a long-term dream but the main focus right now is on the open source models. Nebius $NBIS solves this enterprise problem in a different way: tokens. They opened the Nebius token factory where you and I can start interacting with models directly via a simple API. The positive here is that you can target enterprises from all levels and even individuals. Some examples from token customers here are Revolut, $BKNG, and $SHOP. According to Rod Evans of Nvidia the ROI of selling tokens vs selling cloud is 2x higher. So big customers who have their own infastructure do not want to buy tokens but cloud directly. The smaller customers can buy tokens directly. The positive here is that you create a tailor made solution for every customer. They don't want to buy raw power, they only want to buy what they need. The customer also does not has the hustle of builing and managing raw servers. As I said before, the space here is extremely crowded. Anthropic and Siliconflow are some examples. Conclusion For all investors who follow both companies a lot, this was probably already clear. But for me this brought me some more insights in both companies. It has been said a couple of times during the conference, it is also a business model evolution. From SK Hynix to Nvidia to Cybersecurity companies. Whoever executes best on business model, will win. Demand is real, growth will come, the right business models will stay.

He pointed to Caterpillar's price-to-sales ratio hitting its highest level in at least three decades, with the stock repriced as an AI-power-and-mining-equipment play. He explicitly blamed the rally on "big spending announced out of Korea," calling that "the beginning of the end." Here are the 5 WORST pieces of advice you'll find on X for finance: 1. "Wait for a pullback before buying, we've run up a lot." "We've rallied a lot, so sit on cash and wait." Except statistically, buying $SPY at all-time highs has historically outperformed buying at random points. ATHs aren't a ceiling to be afraid of, they're being hit for a reason. The Semi trade has been the most recent example of this. I'm not waiting to buy $DRAM $MU in the hopes of a pullback after $MU earnings, because the risk is $MU blasts off to $2,000 then you're REALLY screwed. Do you really want to fully miss the semis/memory trade? Worst case just DCA. 2. "Insert Stock Name is a value play, it's been falling for months, so cheap right now." $ADBE, $PYPL bulls love this one. A stock falling for years isn't cheap, it's repricing for a reason. Know the difference between value and a value trap. 3. "Software companies are due for a comeback." None of us know the future. But the one thing that does seem certain: AI keeps getting better, and more software gets commoditized by it. "Due for a bounce" isn't a thesis. Few companies like $PLTR, $RDDT are more likely to succeed than others, but AI may compress margins and increase competition for many software companies. Cheap can always get cheaper. The street might actually know more than you do. 4. "Dividend investing is a great way to grow wealth." @VJNCapital When I first joined it was primarily folks trying to sell expensive community paywalls or TAs. Everyone crowded around the same large stock $PYPL or $UNH investing if they had public thesis. Or hype names like $HIMS. Large part of my popularity was focusing on critical chokepoints, which was my own investing style. Having them validated in markets like $AXTI that went up a few thousand percent. Then not gatekeeping any information. I’ve been getting a lot of copycats that are rising in popularity, but I actually encourage it if they bring their own opinions. As this helps democratize alpha and ideas. I think the recent popularity is just from starting a completely new trend.

$MELI isn't a mature retailer trying to squeeze another 50 bps of margin out of a saturated market but is still building the $AMZN + $SHOP + $PYPL layer for LatAm while opportunity remains wide open. If you wanted proof the growth engine is getting stronger then this was one of its best demand quarters in years: sales grew 49%, GMV grew 42%, items sold grew 47%, fintech grew 51% & customer engagement hit record levels. I think MercadoLibre is making all the right decisions for the next decade and have no issue building this position further.

MY 3 FAVORITE STOCK OPPORTUNITIES RIGHT NOW 1. $MELI | MercadoLibre MercadoLibre is the cleanest example of a stock that looks broken because the market wanted near-term EBIT while the business is clearly on fire underneath. Revenue grew 49% YoY to $8.8B, commerce grew 47%, fintech grew 51%, GMV grew 42% and Brazil items sold accelerated 56% yet the stock sold off because margins compressed as management chose to reinvest into free shipping, logistics, credit cards, 1P commerce and marketing instead of managing the quarter for the market. I think the market is trying to paint MercadoLibre as this mature retailer trying to squeeze out another 50 bps of margin but really it's still building the $AMZN + $PYPL + $XYZ logistics layer for LatAm in a region where e-commerce, digital payments, credit, ads and primary banking adoption are still years behind the U.S. 2. $SOFI | SoFi SoFi is a stock that looks broken because the market wanted the usual beat-and-raise while the business still delivered numbers that most fintechs would kill for. Revenue grew 41% YoY to $1.1B, EBITDA grew 62%, members grew 35% to 14.7M and loan originations grew 68% to $12.2B but the stock sold off because management only reiterated guidance, rate cut expectations have disappeared and the Tech Platform (Galileo) segment remains weak from the Chime offboarding. My thesis is that SoFi is still building the all-in-one digital finance platform for the next generation. The core flywheel is intact because members are growing, deposits are scaling, lending demand remains strong and ~45% of new products are coming from existing members. 3. $META | Meta Platforms Meta is a stock the market keeps treating like an AI capex problem while the actual business is becoming one of the clearest AI monetization engines in the world. Revenue grew 33% YoY to $56B, ad impressions grew 19%, ad pricing grew 12% and Q2 guidance came in stronger than expected but the stock sold off because Meta raised capex guidance by $10B and market immediately went back to the fear that Zuckerberg is overspending before the payoff shows up. I think the payoff is already showing up since AI is improving Reels ranking, video engagement, ad targeting, conversion quality, business messaging and creative performance across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Reels. Meta is using AI to make the highest-margin advertising machine on the internet more relevant, more efficient and more valuable. The common thread across all three is that the market is punishing near-term discomfort while the underlying businesses are getting stronger which is the exact kind of mismatch I like buying.

When the market is weak, the stocks that have already been heavily sold off tend to hold up better, and sometimes even go green. $SNAP +3.44% $PATH +2.85% $PYPL +2.25% $ZETA +1.24% $DUOL +0.25% $HIMS -0.52% These stocks have already gone through their correction. Expectations are low and a lot of weak hands are already out. So when the broader market sells off, there’s simply less incremental selling pressure left. Everyone who wanted to panic has already done it.

Fintech is getting absolutely destroyed in 2026. $SOFI down 32%. $HOOD down 35%. $PYPL down 23%. $PGY down 47%. The selloff started in January and there has been no real recovery. No dip buying, no bounce. Just a slow and steady bleed lower across the whole sector. > Rate sensitivity, macro fear and a broader risk-off move have all hit at once. > Fintech has no defensive cushion when sentiment turns and right now sentiment is rough. PayPay ( $PAYP ) is the newest IPO. If you're wondering if you should fomo in the $PYPL / WeChat of Japan at an $11.8B MC? Let's find out. If you've ever been to Japan: PayPay is everywhere. It's the Japanese SuperApp for payments, investing, and banking. Here's a breakdown: FY 2025 metrics: Revenue: ¥299.1 billion (~$1.9 billion) Growth Rate: ~26.3% Net Income (GAAP): ¥39.2 billion (~$248 million) P/E: ~44x Stock Base Compensation: Virtually 0, unlike $SNAP and $DUOL in the US. If we look at balance sheet: Consolidated accounting makes things a nightmare when you see $PAYP ¥4.85 Trillion (~$32.3 Billion) in liabilities or customer deposits mixed into assets. But pre-IPO net debt is approximately -$480M, and post-IPO proceeds of ~$496M. So balance sheet looks roughly net cash slightly positive but neutral. Also PSA: Softbank is the majority owner, lockup expires September 2026. At $11B, it's roughly ~5.8x P/S and very profitable for a Japanese superapp growing at 26% with expanding margins and zero SBC. By US standards, this is normally valued, not exactly a screaming buy. TLDR: In general, $PAYP is not a terrible long at $11.8B. Might get some IPO hype + mixed with low float dynamics, but would not chase if it ends up a lot higher. Maybe there's some TAM expansion like $HOOD that prices it up over time. But Softbank ATM-like overhang in a few months. But there's a lot better mispriced choices out there like $RDDT right now.

$BULL With the broader M&A environment heating up in 2026 and BULL trading at such a low valuation, what are the real chances of a potential takeover? That’s a serious question no one saw PayPal $PYPL coming it went from zero visible rumors to legitimate interest almost overnight. Low P/S stocks in high-growth sectors like fintech often attract acquirers or private equity, especially when they show strong user/asset growth and consistent profitability like Webull does right now. For all the people worrying about "AI Capex" spend with $GOOGL and $META. Google using their OWN operating cash flow ($180B) to fund the AI buildout for TPUs, GCP, and DCs is positive. They generated ~$165B in 2025. Just look at what happened to $PYPL, when you only about short-term share price with buybacks. Paypal literally issued another $6B buyback and the share price is down 20%. Infrastructure spend to accelerate revenue like $META at trillion dollar valuations is incredibly worth. $META literally guided 30%+ Y/Y growth. $GOOGL guided GCP 48% Y/Y growth and Gemini user numbers skyrocketed (their main threat was ChatGPT last year). Spending money for future return on equity delivers much more value than short-term increases on share prices.

Honestly just looking at the quoted net income chart… Makes you wonder why people try and full port it into contrarian turnaround plays like $PYPL, $FIG, or $DUOL I feel like sitting back and chilling in profitable, hyper-growth companies like Samsung or SK Hynix is just the easiest thing to do? They’re relatively small compared to Mag7, but projected to become the most profitable companies in the world in 2027. Sometimes the best thing to do is just join in on the no-brainer trades and live life on easy mode.
