$AMD $META AMD decides to give up 10% of their business in exchange for revenue from META. 6GW deal. AMD will issue Meta 160 million shares of common stock that will vest in a series of tranches if AMD hits milestones, the first being 1GW. Lisa Su also had a similar deal with OpenAI…so AMD is going to give up 20% of their company to OpenAI and META? Bullish deal but maybe it seems like they are doing this deal with META to hedge the previous one with OpenAI…or they are just okay giving up 20% in exchange to eventually get to that $1T valuation?

DOW JONES CLOSES ABOVE 50K FOR THE FIRST TIME It's been an incredibly emotional week for investors with many stocks still down 20-30% from their highs, but a 2% move on the S&P to end the week flat and the Dow hitting 50K was a small level of relief after a very ugly week. Now, the 2 part question still remains... 1.) Was the temper tantrum from the markets this week actually rooted in something deeper that will result in more pain? 2.) Was last night actually the bottom? Time will tell, but it was nice to see some level of relief today across all sectors. I personally bought the dip on $META (round trip from earnings) $AMZN (did not deserve a 10% decline even with high capex) and initiated a small position in $AMD (16% EPS beat did not warrant a 25% decline after guiding for 35% FY growth) Casino closed for the weekend!
