I trade in probabilities and timeframes and manage accordingly to what is in front of me day to day. I tend to use strong words like top, so everyone pays attention to the real cautions at hand, once you read what i actually write you will see i am not calling a bear market, just guiding you through the market turns. $QQQ just triggered the N-day drop signal. Down 1.51%. This exact setup has fired 95 times since 2003. 1 week out: 65% positive. 1 month: 66%, averaging +2.5%. 2 months: 72%, averaging +5%. Avg max drawdown along the way is -8.25%, so it isn't a straight line. The odds favor higher. The path just isn't clean. A lot of accounts are calling a top. Here's why most are early and how you'll know when it's real. A top isn't a price. It isn't a valuation multiple. It isn't a feeling. A top is a structural condition. And it can only be confirmed after the fact. What you CAN track in real-time is whether the conditions are stacking. We monitor five: 1.
