I mentioned the $UFO ETF will surge because of $SPCX IPO... but $NASA will undoubtedly rally harder. And I'll explain why this is important. $UFO is a broad pure-play. $RKLB, $PL, $VSAT, $GSAT, ~54 names total, but no $SPCX exposure. > Up ~150% over the past year on defense satellite contracts and the broader space rerating > Top 10 holdings make up ~40% of the fund, and several names are still burning cash, so the volatility exists. But the thesis is clean: Own the public companies building the infrastructure. $NASA on the other hand, launched March 31 this year, has one big selling point... ~10% $SPCX exposure held through an SPV. That was the main pitch. And it worked, the fund crossed $1B AUM in 37 trading days. Here's why it's important... The $SPCX position inside $NASA is currently marked at the previous private market valuation. Once $SPCX trades publicly on June 12, that position re-rates to live trading price (subject to lockup). When $SPCX opens significantly above its IPO price (remember the Nasdaq-100 inclusion?)... the SPV value increases significantly, which flows directly into $NASA's NAV. $UFO doesn't have that mechanic. Great read and largely agree with @AlmaCap114204 here. Buying SpaceX, Anthropic or OpenAI after the IPO does not interest me as much as $CBRS. I think $CBRS is an easy buy purely as a trade in this market. Remember $CRWV last year? Furthermore, I already have a tiny $DGXX position as a $CBRS proxy after their large deal last week For SpaceX, I think $SATS is a good way for direct exposure to frontrun the IPO For Anthropic, I heard $ZM may be interesting? But no position and not too familiar at the moment. Might be worth taking a look though $SATS / $ASTS also hedge each other since they are two of the three main players in the direct to cell connectivity race, with the third being $AMZN after the $GSAT acquisition. But they probably get the worst of both sides with technological limitations compared to $ASTS and a late start compared to both

$ASTS, some more thoughts, covered by others before but worth a reminder: - $GSAT's spectrum is narrow-band: good for SOS texting, not calls, let alone video. ASTS delivers voice, video and full data to unmodified phones. These are not the same product. - América Móvil: Elon called Carlos Slim a cartel boss on X. Slim cancelled his Starlink partnership the same day. América Móvil with 300m+ subscribers across 25 countries is left with $ASTS as the only viable alternative (which almost every other MNO has chosen too)

Nearly 3 billion subscribers already signed up to distribute the service. Regulatory moat: ITU filings through Germany. Candidate for the EU 2GHz MSS band when Viasat and EchoStar's licences expire in 2027. Political moat: MNOs across 21 EU states want a sovereign satellite alternative. The $AMZN $GSAT acquisition is not a threat to $ASTS. It is the single most bullish thing that could have happened to the sector. Here is why people are reading this completely backwards. $AMZN just paid $9 billion for a company doing $272 million in revenue with a satellite network that powers one feature on one phone. Apple Emergency SOS. That is it. When you are lost in the wilderness and have zero bars you can send a distress signal. That is the entire product. It requires a specific app. A specific process. It does not integrate with your carrier. It does not work automatically. It is a last resort emergency tool that most iPhone users have never even opened. $AMZN paid $9 billion for that. Now think about what $ASTS delivers. Full 4G and 5G broadband to your existing phone on your existing carrier plan. No app. No setup. No new device. It is completely invisible to the end user. The carrier does all the work. $ASTS gets a 50/50 revenue split on every subscriber that uses the service. AT&T signed. Verizon signed. Vodafone signed. 50+ carriers total covering 3.2 billion existing subscribers. The company that just got acquired for $9 billion does emergency pings. $ASTS does everything your phone already does but from space and they already have the entire carrier industry signed up to distribute it. If the inferior emergency ping technology is worth $9 billion to Amazon then what is the company with 50 carrier partners, 3.2 billion addressable subscribers, and full broadband from space worth. $ASTS dip feels overdone IMO Feels similar to when SpaceX bought $SATS spectrum in September or when Blue Origin announced their TeraWave constellation January 21st. Have added some shares today. My thoughts on this entry are that it is nice ahead of the launch and shipment, provided they go well and actually ship a batch this month. $ASTS was up 5% pre market on the $AMZN $GSAT news and has since given it all back and then some being down over 10% since the pre market top That is the market being irrational in real time and I want to explain why this news is actually one of the most bullish things that has happened for the entire D2D sector this year. $AMZN is acquiring $GSAT Globalstar for roughly $9 billion. Let that sink in. Globalstar does $272 million in revenue. Has a basic LEO network. Powers Apple Emergency SOS. Limited direct to device capability. The technology is miles behind $ASTS. $AMZN is paying $9 billion for the inferior version of what $ASTS has already built. This is not bearish for $ASTS. This is the most powerful sector validation imaginable. The largest e-commerce and cloud company on earth just told you that direct to device satellite connectivity is worth acquiring at any price. They looked at the competitive landscape and decided they needed a satellite network immediately regardless of cost. They picked the worst horse in the race and still paid $9 billion for it. $ASTS has 50+ carrier partners covering 3.2 billion existing subscribers. 120 Mbps speeds directly to unmodified smartphones. $AMZN ~$12B deal for $GSAT would take Project Kuiper beyond broadband giving Amazon licensed spectrum & a D2D path without relying on carriers. If AI is going to live in robots, devices & physical infrastructure then connectivity becomes part of the stack too and Amazon may be moving early to own it.

The market has only partially priced in the SpaceX IPO, initiating a mini rally for related tickers. Being the largest IPO in history at $1.75 trillion, I don't think the market can fully and properly price in what's to come. True proxies or not, the entire industry will see a price surge. Conservatively, I think we could see: $SATL at $10+ $PL at $45+ $BKSY at $40+ $ASTS at $150+ $RKLB at $100+ All in the near-future. Undoubtedly, $LHX $TDY $IRDM $GSAT and many more should simultaneously rally as well.

SpaceX IPO is undoubtedly going to bring an influx of capital into the space sector. Some of the easiest money will be made through proxy trading. While L3Harris $LHX and Teledyne $TDY are the closest to true proxies, partial/indirect proxies like $IRDM $GSAT $SATL $PL $BKSY (and more) should do quite well. Names like Satellogic $SATL carry higher risk, but significantly higher upside. Despite being in the infrastructure-building phase, $800M market cap seems quite undervalued relative to its competitors. Positioning early here could be very rewarding. Not financial advice.

Space is🚀this year. Here is why you should put it on your radar: ▪️Data centers in space are not sci-fi. Satellites currently use solar power and have computers on board. Benefits are 40% higher peak solar power operating 90%+ of the time. ▪️Roughly 30% of space cos demand is defense, which provides a nice downside protection (esp. with Short Interest in most >10%). ▪️Many defense contracts are just getting awarded due to the gov shut-downs (1H26 catalyst). Defense budgets are ↗️ ▪️~10-25% of large-cap Defense companies is Space exposure, providing decent upside; ▪️Launch capacity is the constraint ▪️Costs need to go down for large-scale DC from $3,000 to $300…but they already are heading there. Who will benefit? Layer I: Component suppliers. Space represents 10-25% of large-cap defense companies and even more of some of the mid/smaller caps. Layer II: Launch companies are the place to be. $GSAT / $RKLB Globalstar Signs Launch Services Agreement with SpaceX "These satellites, constructed by our partners at MDA and Rocket Lab, will enhance our ability to provide the highest quality satellite services to our customers over the long-term." Globalstar expects the launch will take place next year following the initial launch this year. These satellites have been authorized by the FCC to operate under Globalstar’s HIBLEO-4 filing for a renewed 15-year term.
