$MNTS seems like an easy ~2x here... Went from ~$8 to $22+ in 2 days after news came out about a former astronaut buying in. Sector had a healthy pullback when Blue Origin blew up, but everything is healthily climbing again. Fundamentals are there as well... Every space computing satellite eventually needs to be repositioned, serviced, or hosted somewhere. They handle that part very well. They just had a successful Vigoride 7 launch. And it doesn't seem like the market has priced in the fact that they're not just debt-free, they have a very strong balance sheet (news from 3 days ago)... I have a day-trade position, could very likely see it surpass the previous highs of ~$22. Next resistance is at $26... (Dilution is out of the way as well)

It sounds simple, but it really comes down to doing the work early while most attention is elsewhere. Earlier this year, these 3 names were widely dismissed and heavily doubted. $MNTS Under this initiative, Momentus will deliver a NASA CubeSat to low Earth orbit (LEO) to demonstrate joint rendezvous and proximity operations (RPO) as well as formation flying. Central to the mission is NASA’s R5 Spacecraft 10 (R5-S10), which will act as a free-flying imager for Momentus' Vigoride 7 Orbital Service Vehicle (OSV), assessing spacecraft health and performance.

I’ve been digging again into Ascent’s thin-film solar tech, and one thing stands out. Momentus owns U.S. Patent 11,936,335 (granted March 2024) for a rollable tape spring solar array, the mechanical deployment system that makes ASTI’s integration possible. Together, $MNTS and $ASTI developed the Tape Spring Solar Array (TASSA) to tackle a key challenge: scalable power for SmallSats. The array packs into a tiny volume, then self-deploys in orbit using tape-spring mechanics. Lightweight, compact and even retractable if needed. TASSA already proved itself in orbit on Momentus’ Vigoride-6 mission in LEO back in March 2023. For Vigoride-7 (March 2026) and beyond, Momentus is now positioning TASSA as a standard component for their M-1000 satellite bus. As constellations scale, launch mass and volume matter more than ever. Thin-film solar could become a key enabler of the next wave of space infrastructure, including orbital data centers. If that plays out, Momentus and Ascent may be well positioned.

$SIDU / $MNTS / $ASTI They all fit the same dopamine trade narrative. Years of heavy dilution funded R&D, crushed the stock ~99%, and now investors hope 2026 is the turnaround year. That asymmetry is tempting, but let’s be honest, most of these stories don’t come back. Small, intentional bets CAN make sense inside a space portfolio as part of a tightly capped ~10-15% "dopamine bucket". Make sure to manage expectations and size accordingly.

$MNTS Momentus is up 30% premarket after landing a NASA study contract. The contract tasked Momentus to conduct a terrestrial study that explored options to fly advanced robotic systems in space aboard one of its upcoming orbital service vehicle flights. These technologies are designed to demonstrate autonomous robotic maneuvers and operations that could inform future on-orbit servicing, debris mitigation, satellite assembly, and lunar surface operations.
