Why I flipped from bearish to bullish on $SIVE and added on to the $GFS news. First, I was never short this. I fundamentally was bullish on the company when I bought in, but turnt bearish on the valuation and how we got there. My initial entry was 19SEK (Picture linked) and I haven't sold a thing - before the cultists come for my throat. I have personally interacted with @StormDirac and expressed the gratefulness of help he has been with retail. I am never a permabull or permabear, and if you are long a name and cannot state the bear case against it, you are a slave to your ego. I have learnt this is very foreign on finX. It's unimaginable that someone can be long, while providing a bearish take. My bear case was simple: the narrative was miles ahead of the reality. NOT that the company is bad. > Earnings were not good enough, full stop. Revenue down 22% YoY, and a record jump in the "opportunity pipeline" means nothing until it converts to orders. > Pipeline is a promise. I do not pay up for promises. And the move was sentiment, not substance. >The name blew up in popularity and a lot of it was borrowed conviction, people long because other people were loud, not because they had done the work. > Every red day got met with another conviction post, like clockwork. That is the tell of a story being defended, not a thesis being held. The only analogy I can think of is this - You know when you are constantly messaging a woman every day, needing constant reasurement. The woman gets turnt off, because it comes across as insecure. It felt like that, felt desperate. > When price is propped up by reassurance instead of results, I dislike it. > "Fake gurus" on twitter using the momentum and popularity of SIVE to fake their conviction about the company for their own personal gains (followers/likes/networking). Why I turnt bullish again. The $GFS deal is the first sign of life for the story that is not fantasy posting. GF is one of the purest-play foundries in the U.S. GF is adding SIVE InP lasers to its menu of qualified light sources inside its silicon photonics reference designs, including the new CPO platform. That maps Sivers into the same value chain running through $AVGO, $MRVL and $NVDA. It widens the funnel and, more importantly, hands them a credible logo qualifying their tech for CPO. A foundry does not put your laser on the table for no reason. Now the part the hype accounts skip. This is optionality, not a design win. No orders yet. GF can run Sivers alongside other partners like $MTSI. Design win to revenue is a long lag, with the CPO ramp really starting 2027 and beyond into a TAM Goldman Sachs sees scaling into the tens of billions. So this is not a revenue event. It is a credibility event. That is exactly why it moves me as a valuation bear. My problem was never the addressable market, it was that none of it was real yet. This is the first piece that is. One real foundry relationship is worth more than a hundred conviction posts. I bought the news here. The sell-off already happened and the news was unexpected. What additionally grows my conviction is a design win with actual numbers attached. If Sivers is now qualified into GF's CPO stack, why does a $MRVL not just buy them and vertically integrate the laser layer? Or $COHR / $LITE to consolidate it? Appreciate any feedback and apologise for any obfuscating I might have done.

Guys $SIVE fundamentally, is SUCH A GOOD COMPANY. Here is 130 tweets about why its the next $LITE No its got nothing to do with my 1% float. Its because I love finding niché bottlenecks for retail to stick it to the man. By the way did I mention they are looking at at NASDAQ uplisting. Shareholders should be told by me, not by the company, its fair because of my love for retail. NO. @snmart I think as it stands. 30p is the floor. Their biggest downstream customers ex: $LITE have all had historic earnings. We also already know balance sheet is better via $MTSI its just a matter of guidance and revenue print at this point. And so far Photonics has been the strongest sector in the entire market. So even slightly bullish news, just fully sends it.

Heres what I'm looking out for to try and predict the future. > $VIAV [reported - blowout] Test equipment. Every 1.6T transceiver gets validated on VIAV's ONE-1600 platform. Blowout = test volumes surging = production is ramping. > $MSFT [already reported - beat] Largest data centre customer at 28.8% of FY2025 revenue. Reaffirmed aggressive AI capex. The buyer is spending. > $FN [May 4] Main contract manufacturer for optical modules. Watch datacom/HPC revenue and supply constraint commentary. > $LITE [May 5] Only supplier shipping 200G EML lasers at volume. @SushantJos39350 Appreciate it! $SOI is definetely something I'm not against, it's basically apples and oranges. I'm a massive $LITE bull so I naturally just chose $IQE and the fact its a national company for me. 99.9% of people still don't even know what a Photonic is, so we are early!

$IQE now up 250% since I brought in January of this year. The price action of today was caused by $LITE announcing orders filled through 2028 on accelerating demand. And like clockwork $IQE reaps the beta premium. $IQE have a direct pipeline to the $NVDA build-out via $LITE and anything to do with backlogging will add more re-rating for this company. I expect the next $IQE ER to be an absolute blow out for anyone not already in yet.

My personal top convictions in Photonics $AEHR -> Every silicon photonics chip needs to be tested before it ships. AEHR is the only company doing it at wafer level. Just landed a major new hyperscale customer last week. $AAOI -> The purest CPO play on the market. $455M revenue, +83% YoY, projecting $4.5B ARR by mid-2027. Three back to back hyperscale deals by "Unknown" company to confirm the extremely bullish guidance. $LITE -> NVIDIA invested $4B here for a reason. They make the lasers and components that go inside every transceiver, every LIDAR, every optical system. Picks and shovels upstream of AAOI. $TSEM -> Tower Semiconductor. The foundry that fabricates the silicon photonics chips everyone else designs. 200mm/300mm fabs in Israel, US, Japan. Intel partnership. If photonics wins, TSEM manufactures the win. If I wasn't majorly allocated in EQR/VNP already. I'd be equal weight all of these for 2-3 years.
