$EONR Trump’s Iran speech pushed oil sharply higher and $EONR may be one of the clearest small-cap beneficiaries Trump’s speech last night was clearly read by the market as bullish for oil and negative for equities. He did not give markets a real de-escalation path, said the U.S. would keep hitting Iran, and Reuters reported that after the speech WTI jumped to about $105.40 while stocks sold off. Reuters also noted that Trump had explicitly told countries affected by Hormuz disruption to buy from the U.S. if they needed supply. That matters a lot for $EONR because management has already told investors that the company’s economics work at much lower oil prices than where we are now. On the Q3 2025 earnings call, management said: “we feel we have healthy economics at $60.” So if EON was already comfortable around $60 WTI, then today’s oil price environment is a completely different world for the company. And they gave the market another very important datapoint in March. In EON’s March 20, 2026 drilling update, the company said: “At today’s oil price of $90, this level of production could contribute an additional $1.3 million per month, essentially doubling our net revenues.” That is management’s own wording. So if they were saying $90 oil could essentially double net revenues at the planned production level, then oil over $100 only makes the setup more interesting. This is why I think the macro has shifted in a very meaningful way for EON. The company already cleaned up the balance sheet in Q3’25, and the 2026 drilling story is no longer just vague slideware. On March 20, EON said its 2026 drilling program was commencing, with 10 new horizontal wells planned in 2026, the first 3 in Q2, and results expected in Q3. The company also said its technical team estimates around 400 BOPD average per well, with EON’s 35% working interest partially prefunded within the farmout structure A few months ago, the EON bull case was mostly about balance-sheet repair and a future drilling story that still needed to be proven. Today, that same story is sitting in a much stronger macro backdrop. Oil is no longer in the $60–$70 range where people argue about whether small producers can make money. We are suddenly in a market where WTI is around $105, and serious analysts are openly discussing much more extreme upside scenarios if Hormuz stays disrupted. Reuters reported this week that the war shock has triggered the biggest upward revision ever in its oil forecast poll, and that Brent could reach $190 if Hormuz remains closed. That does not mean $190 is the base case, but it does show how much the market has changed in a matter of days. For EON, that is obviously a positive. Higher oil improves the value of current production, improves the economics of new wells, and makes the whole 2026 program more attractive. It also makes it easier to imagine management pursuing acquisitions or other growth moves from a stronger position than they had before.

$USO $EONR My prediction is that, the price of oil will keep rising up regardless of how much manipulation it faces. The only way it can be halted is if Trump suddenly agrees to stop the war on the terms of Iran which is very rare (may be 5% chance). Iran will try to exploit this situation to get the best deal, one of which is that, it can claim 10% tariff of every oil tanker that crosses the strait of Hormuz. It can even request for American bases to be removed from the region. They will try to use every leverage they have regardless how sever they get bombed. I believe this will take weeks if not months to resolve. Meanwhile we will see oil prices going higher. As a result all related products, such as gases, petrochemicals, fertilizers and certain petrol byproducts will be impacted in supply chain and in prices.

$EONR $USO Brent oil back above 100$ and pushing higher. oil rallied so hard right now.. looks like a nice gap up.. iran likes to attack on fridays and weekends, expect a bigger jump on oil. They tried everything even lying and failed. Energy will keep rallying. Also Iran is allowing their tankers through. They've sold MORE oil now then before the conflict. Only a matter of time before Trump sinks or takes those ships. This is going to get messy.
