I ❤️ my Analyst Agents. ————- Searched X and filtered hard for real energy/refining signal. Top 5 for $VLO 1. @SuicideBlonde_2 Best VLO-specific/refining model work I found. Had a detailed $MPC / $VLO earnings preview with USGC 3-2-1 cracks, VLO EBITDA assumptions, renewable diesel, ethanol, G&A, RIN/feedstock commentary, and buyback/debt framing. This is the cleanest “actual refining work” account in the sample. 2. @KarelMercx Real investor profile, explicitly long/refining-aware. Good posts tying $VLO to diesel inventories, Gulf Coast utilization, Russia distillate disruption, and crude-vs-product divergence. More macro/product-market driven, but useful for the VLO setup. 3. @HFI_Research Not a pure individual PM account, but serious energy investment research and far better than cashtag promo. Strongest macro/refining product-tightness signal: crack spreads, product exports, refinery utilization, gasoline/diesel storage, China product exports. Just in: 1. Trump likely to Subsidize Oil Firms in Venezuela. 2. Trump is now currently meeting US Oil company leaders to discuss these subsidies and boosting Oil Production immediately Here’s what companies likely receives the funding and benefits: $CVX - Chevron US subsidies are basically guaranteed as they are the only U.S. major currently left that can use to immediately deploy these subsidies. Refiners $VLO, $PSX and $MPC - These refiners are built to process Venezuelan heavy crude. Subsidies mean the oil flows faster, albeit the exact allocations are more speculative due to multiple players. Service Companies $HAL, $BKR - These companies don't own the oil but they do fix the pipes. Many of these companies will likely receive subsidizes, as the US fixes extremely old pipelines. This is incredibly rewarding for US companies to capitalize on the $17T gold mine of Venezuelan oil reserves, without risking their own capital. Markets were initially pricing in high capex spend with a few of these, and now we might see a market re-rating in anticipation of these subsidies. US funding oil company spend changes the equation across the board and is bullish for oil firms like Chevron.

This morning the US has invaded Venezuela. Everyone is led to now asking the same question. How can you actually make money from it? 1. Oil and heavy sour crude ~ $VLO, $MPC, $XOM Venezuela is fundamentally in oil, but specifically more in heavy sour crude. Light sweet crude isn’t a substitute for Venezuela barrels, so when this supply is disrupted, diesel cracks, and heavy light spreads widen. This benefits complex refiners with flexible sourcing, and trading arms. 2. Naval Assets and defense ~ $LMT, $AVAV, $HII Enforcement, and security requires naval platforms, precision strikes, and unmanned systems. Sustained presence drives demand for ships, drones, and control across prime contractors. - $LMT ~ Integrated strike systems and ISR backbone. - $BA ~ F/A-18’s, bomber platforms & more. - $AVAV - Tactical drones - $HII - Shipbuilding and naval assets. 3. Oil control drives needs for data control and decision making ~ $PLTR Securing or restricting Venezuelan oil flows from ports, sanctions, & infrastructure is ultimately a data problem.
