Incorrect. The $ABVX story published by La Tribune included no new or original reporting. All the references to the rumored acquisition were from stories in La Lettre and a Reuters story that attributed takeover speculation to "market rumors." Face it, you were duped into believing $ABVX was being acquired in December and into #JPM26 by people who planted fake rumors to manipulate the stock for their own personal gain.
It seems as if folks on this site who were manipulated into believing $LLY was buying $ABVX before or during #JPM26 are mad at me for trying to warn them it was unlikely. A good reminder. It's always my fault!

First, we learn all the $ABVX $LLY French Ministry speculation was fake, now today it's $SNY $OCUL The story explains Sanofi's interest in "combination therapies" --> Dextenza + Dupixent? What the f--k? Dextenza is a tiny eye implant, Dupixent is an injectable. What are you combining? The La Lettre story doesn't even mention Axpaxli or the upcoming SOL-1 ph3 study readout. I think $OCUL is interesting and if SOL-1 hits, the company could be sold. In fact, I wrote that in early January given CEO Pravin Dugel's track record selling Iveric to Astellas. But, please, look at how $OCUL traded at the end of Wednesday.

@pemulisking $ABVX is a symptom of the retail investor mania that has built up in biotech over the last several months. It was a bubble within a bubble. You can (and should) be bullish on biotech, future M&A and even $ABVX, but as you said, folks chasing the dream and the quick jackpot creates blindspots. It is not a wise biotech investing strategy.
