Don't be scared of the multiples. When investing in disruptive technology, whatever numbers you see would only be representative of the bottom of the S curve. Meaning that if it is even slightly material to the revenue base, it is likely to be significantly material once it matures. But for $BE , all the revenue IS the disruptive tech. Triple #'s growth rates are not only possible, but probable.

Funny story. We were at the Vertiv booth and asked the guy there about this 800VDC power module and what it does. It is a combined transformer and rectifier that turns AC medium voltage from the grid into 800 VDC. This is very big and expensive. I think they said like $3M ASP. So we asked the guy, “What if you just had 800 VDC natively? Then you wouldn’t need this box, right?” He said “Well, where would you get that?” This, my friends, is the $BE thesis IRL. Yesterday, $NBIS and $BE signed an agreement worth up to ~$2.6B. Bloom will install, operate, and maintain fuel cell power supply systems for Nebius. The agreement is expected to provide ~250MW of guaranteed capacity and ~328MW of installed capacity in aggregate, delivered in three phases, each with a 10-year supply term. $BE now up 25% from the selloff lows.

The most common question I've gotten on $BE is about their scalability. Can they actually make the boxes in their backlog? I've been asked this over ten times and the answer is that they absolutely can. On their most recent earnings call, KR says that they are already scaling by hundreds of megawatts per quarter and that they can 10x their capacity without adding a single employee. $BE management has committed publicly to never being the bottleneck for their customers. I've made this point in my article, but it is worth restating: $BE is like a semi-cap. They have very low capex per unit of capacity compared to gas turbines, and that is their primary advantage. Notice how the questions we're asking aren't about the technological superiority of their solution. This is important: once $BE proves that they can scale, there is no holding back this company.

$BE might not be the TCO or superior tech play anymore, it might be the scarcity play. We are going to be so compute constrained that every turbine is sold out, every grid connection is locked down, and new projects run into regulatory black holes in every state. $BE management has said they are capital light, scalable, and will "never be the bottleneck. Fuel cells might just take all of the overflow demand. @ContrarianCurse and @leopoldasch were right all along.
