@b_co_co I’m a fan of $AAOI, $PL, $PLTR and $VKTX. Not a fan of $DUOL.
I just cracked the CEO-code. - Founder led - PhD in science $PL - Will Marshall Ph.D. in Physics $AAOI - Chih-Hsiang Ph.D in electrical engineering $VKTX - Brian Lian Ph.D in Organic Chemistry $PLTR - Alex Karp Ph.D in Neoclassical Social theory Looks like you just have to look at your favourite industry, look for a CEO with a Ph.D in science and buy the stock. Looks like you can’t miss.
3 stock I think will bounce back in 2026. 1. $HIMS HIMS is perfectly positioned to capture the new pharma wave. GLP-1 is still the fastest growing TAM outside AI. While the AI TAM is still unclear how it will develop, the GLP-1 wave is quite predictable. HIMS just needs to bring the products to the customer. The more customers they can bring to the platform, the more attractive HIMS will be to peptide producers. At the moment we have 2 GLP-1 producers, $NVO and $LLY. This will increase in the near future. $ROP, $PFE, and $VKTX are all working on their own peptide variant. With recent acquisitions in Europe, HIMS is making sure they are ideally positioned to reach as many customers as possible. The stock was at $70 when the Novo deal collapsed. In the meantime, they made some great acquisitions and started some great initiatives such as HERS and Hims Labs to attract more customers to the platform. I recently bought some extra $HIMS.
@CloisterRes You just made a stronger argument for $VKTX in a single X post than its CEO has ever done in all his conference calls and investor presentations.
@CloisterRes @Biohazard3737 This might sound mean and simplistically stupid, but is it possible the problem is $VKTX CEO Brian Lian? You know the saying, "He could sell ice to eskimos." Brian is the opposite of that. Forget about selling, I don't know if Brian could give away a glass of water to a man dying of thirst. Maybe Viking needs a messaging revamp. Free advice.
@Biohazard3737 Because $VKTX is none of those things?
@A_May_MD $VKTX longs https://t.co/G9KER8QOVM
@PCM_bio @WallStSai Wouldn't Kailera be in play before $VKTX? Hasn't the latter already proved to be inferior?
@lipa0902 @DrewQJoseph Because $PFE thought $MTSR has a better obesity pipeline than $VKTX? Pretty clear-cut answer.
$VKTX - Mizuho's Jared Holz on the oral data: Data look inferior to LLY on almost all metrics and the thing to consider here is that patients discontinued at such a high rate over 13-weeks vs. LLY in the mid 20% range but over 72-weeks. A much longer trial and therefor LLY looks far better head-to-head. This probably shutters hope for VKTX a bigtime player in the oral obesity market over the near to medium term. Pipeline and/or better versions needed to get investors and patients more interested. LLY could bounce a bit early but oral weight-loss programs continue to be highly controversial in terms of how they are perceived by the Street.
$LLY can now buy $VKTX much much cheaper. 🤷♀️
