@ActAccordingly How about show some prudence? Housing market is arguably in the early stages of repricing, and there’s enormous new supply of multi-family. $BLDR has real capex & interest costs (even if temporarily low). What if sales drop 10-15% from here and gross margins de-leverage? — it gets ugly quick…

$BLDR aggressively bought back more stock in Q1 ‘26, despite significant negative operating leverage & $4.5 b of debt (~3.7x ‘26 estimates). This isn’t 2014-15 and mgmt seems blind to the fact that 2020-22 was a bubble. There’s increasing balance sheet risk here…

Should have stayed short $BLDR, broke $100 today. Great business, not sure why they were in such a rush to buyback so much stock though when it was obvious fundies were deteriorating. I have no idea where it goes from here.

@jasonfromDTX @TheBenSchmark not sure what this means. we're talking about building products or trucking and logistics? $qxo diluting existing s/h hell (already have through the warrants). meanwhile $bldr is buying back 12% of it's stock every year. jacobs references $bldr as best in class. look it up.
