BREAKING, BREAKING: STAT is now reporting on a lawsuit filed by Aurinia Pharma $AUPH against George Tidmarsh, accusing him of defamation due to a “longstanding personal vendetta against Kevin Tang.” The Aurinia lawsuit also has more details re: American Laboratories, the private company owned by Tang that supplies ingredients used to make a thyroid medicine. Tidmarsh directed the FDA to remove the thyroid drugs from the market because it would hurt American Laboratories, the lawsuit alleges. Tidmarsh also tried to extort money from American Laboratories and Tang, according to the lawsuit. Tidmarsh denies the allegations.

Overnight, FDA CDER chief George Tidmarsh deleted the second LinkedIn post where he tried to walk back his attack on $AUPH voclosporin. This post below is now erased, as are the critical comments from other LinkedIn members, including those that accused Tidmarsh of a personal vendetta against Kevin Tang.
