Flex LNG $FLNG reported. I think the spike in LNG spot rates and Flex signing a couple charters then, saved them from a dividend cut in 2026. People seem to see this graph and think "we've been here before" . But they generally forget this company pays out way more then EPS in dividends, basically all FCF. Ships do actually age and depreciate over time... Its never been more expensive then now imo $FLNG. https://t.co/aC7Qt2H8eE

I really don't get $FLNG pricing. Qatar gets hit, pushing out volumes long term, and delaying upstart of new production even more, and the market thinks that is Bullish LNG shipping? Weird. Massive newbuild orderbook won't be delayed on the other hand, lots of spot relets coming.

I think LNG freight is back to sub $50k/day in no time. Huge loss of production volume, plus extreme prices resulting in demand loss ; doesn't match with a huge spike in freight rates... Spike doesn't pass the smell test imo. $FLNG $CLCO $CCEC $ALNG

If the war results in loss of LNG supplies and a spike in LNG prices, the outlook for LNG shipping rates will go even worse. Lower volumes to ship and only short haul EU will be willing to pay up. $flng $Clco $ccec

Today $FLNG reported very weak 2026 guidance, I wonder if analysts wake up to the current realities. Also, EU storage is very low, ships will keep getting drawn short haul to EU, so very weak LNG spot shipping rates to prevail.

US gas prices blowing out is another hit to spot $LNG shipping rates. US storage down due to the cold blast , so less supply available to export, plus its getting even more expensive versus plentiful alternatives (for Asia) like Thermal coal, propane, ethane. $FLNG $CLCO $CCEC
