This is a massive $GOOGL announcement when you really think about it because Gemini is starting to look like the checkout infrastructure of the AI economy. Google is stitching together a universal commerce layer across $SHOP, $ETSY, $PYPL, $TGT & $WMT where AI agents actually complete transactions. Retail token usage on GCP is already ~100T per month & that’s before agentic AI even takes off.
