@Biotenic $AVXL is in a bind bc EMA CHMP opinions are published. Timing is likely end of year, beginning of '26, depending on when the drug hits the CHMP agenda. Missling could withdraw the application and spin it, make some excuse. He's in a tough spot. Rejection is inevitable, it's just a matter of time and how it plays out.
Re: $NWBO - MHRA isn't as transparent as EMA, which is how mgmt has been able to delay/distract/avoid disclosing the DCVax-L rejection. NWBO has a long history of not disclosing material events, dating back to 2015 and the ph3 futility finding that showed DCVax caused harm and put the study on FDA hold.
For awhile, NWBO was hiding behind the MHRA drug review backlog, but that's been cleared so it's no longer an excuse. As you noted, the DCVax application has been in front of MHRA since Dec. 2023 -- an unbelievable 21 months! The drug was rejected. When or even if NWBO ever acknowledges, who knows? If history is a guide, maybe never. The company will continue to limp along, raising debt and selling shares each month to keep the lights on. NWBO has not treated a single patient with DCVax in a clinical trial for 10 years.
